Microwaves in contrast tend to take oxygen out of the water leaving you with flat tasting water. Put one level teaspoon of tea into infuser for each 8 oz. of water. If making a pot, measure how many cups it holds and put 1 level teaspoon for each 8 oz. cup. Forget adding one teaspoon for the pot. Pour boiling water over leaves, it is important that you shock the tea by pouring water over the leaves, it gives a better flavor than putting the leaves in after you have poured the water. Put Infuser lid on to steep. Here is a time chart for brewing different types of tea: Green Tea……………………………...3:00-3:30 mins. Black Tea (Flavored &Simple) ………..5:00 mins. Herbal…………………………………………..5:00 mins. White Tea……………………………...3:00-4:00 mins Remove infuser from the tea and place in lid to catch drips. Tap leaves out into the disposal and rinse out any leafs that may be left in the infuser. Your infuser is ready for the next cup Enjoy a Wonderful cup of Tea!
