Orange Pekoe, or Ceylon, so called because of the orangish color of the leaves is one of the basic tea hybrids used as a component in blending many of the simple and flavored teas.  It is also used to make most of the iced teas because of its clear beautiful color. Harney & Sons decaffeinates their black tea with liquid CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) so the brisk, bold taste of the tea remains true instead of washed out like a lot of other decaffeinated teas. You would never know that this aromatic, flavorful brew has no caffeine.   Decaf Black is simply the great taste of Orange Pekoe but without the caffeine.
